Advocacy
CCCMHA leads the state mental health community in advocacy before the legislature and state agencies and commissions to secure and increase funding for mental health services for children, adults, and older adults.
Working collaboratively with all behavioral health stakeholders, CCCMHA members and staff identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in financing, regulatory, and policy arenas, paying particular attention to ensuring that the principles of the Mental Health Services Act and overall tenets of Recovery and total health are respected and upheld.
On this page you will find both general resource information and up to the minute information about state budget, legislation, and other issues of interest, including CCCMHA position papers and key documents from our advocacy partners.
