State Fund Workers Compensation Insurance

CCCMHA administers a State Fund Workers Compensation program called California Healthcare Provider Services, (CHPS).  Any organization with codes 8804, 8810, 8834 or 8742 may qualify for CHPS and a 6% discount on their workers compensation premium. There is no cost to any CCCMHA member agency to participate in the program.

Healthcare organizations with the above codes, not eligible for full CCCMHA membership, may become a member of California Healthcare Providers Services without becoming a member of CCCMHA.

Those organizations that are eligible for membership in CCCMHA must become a CCCMHA member in order to participate in the program.

CHPS membership application and conversion forms for individual state fund members and brokered state fund members are located here to assist you in joining CHPS.
