CCCMHA is best known for its two most visible services:

• Advocacy with the Legislature and state agencies;
• Training and public policy development conferences every four months held in conjunction with County Mental Health Directors and the California Institute for Mental Health, providing a special forum exclusively for executive directors and other management leaders of member agencies to develop new and improved services.
