Membership Meetings
CCCMHA holds three policy meetings for executives and senior managers each year, providing excellent opportunities for learning about current state-level policy issues and exchanging ideas and networking with colleagues in a relaxed and informal environment. Winter and Fall meetings are scheduled in tandem with CA Institute for Mental Health (CiMH) Policy Forums, and the Summer meeting is held after the Executive Training Conference.
Policy Forums
Twice annually CCCCMHA joins with the Mental Health Directors and CiMH for a day-long policy forum designed to inform attendees and structure discussion about state and national-level healthcare and behavioral health system changes being contemplated or in the pipeline. These policy forums are an opportunity to hear from national and state thought leaders and to participate in discussions about the potential or known impacts on our consumers and service delivery systems of current and future policy direction. These forums are generally held in February and September.
Executive Training
Each summer the association sponsors a day-long executive/senior manager training conference, bringing in consultants with expertise in such areas as internal agency operations, national or state-level policy direction, Board relationships, succession planning, and change management. These conferences provide participants with specific tools to manage their ever-changing environments.
